Courier delivery delays

Sometimes couriers may not be as careful as they should be. In most cases the above-mentioned delivery times are easily met, but for unexpected reasons the delivery may be slightly delayed. The customer who makes the purchase is aware of this. We always recommend making the purchase a few days in advance, to prevent the occurrence of these circumstances from creating any difficulties.

Warning

Delivery takes place at street level, close to the accesso to the property, and is only guaranteed in conditions of safe accessibility by the means of transport used by the couriers (large vans or trucks). If the access is not possible, the vehicles shall deliver the product to the point where it can be safely accessed; the customer, aware if the difficulties in accessing normal vehicles to his home, shall take care of the transfer of the product to his property. In the event that the difficulty of access by theese means is omitted at the time of the orderm the courier is not excluded from requesting additional charges, which shall be borne by the customer. Matsytool cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery due to unforesseable circumstances (such as accidents, explosions, fires, strikes, and/or lockouts, earthquakes, floods, heavy snowfall and similar events) or for causes attributable to the courier.

Although we rely on extremely professional couriers, the transport of goods containing metal parts, electrical componetns or of a certain volume and weight, puts the goods to the risk of damage: jolts, overturning, overlapping packages, knocks and more cannot be excluded.

Packages must be carefully checked on delivery

• MISSING PACKAGE: in the event of missing packages, sing the courier’s delivery document with “goods unchecked – missing package/s”;
• INTACT PACKAGES: notify us immediately of any hidden damage that can not be detected or assumed from the appearance of the package, but only after it has benn opened;

DAMAGED / OPEN / DIRTY / CLOSED PACKAGES WITH COURIER TAPE: have “good unchecked – damaged package (open, dirty, etc…)” written on the courier’s delivery document before signing. The signature with reservation, without this specification, will be generic and useless for the recognition of damages by the courier.

IN ANY CASE, any anomaly must be immediately reported to Matsytool, together with some pics, within a maximum of 5 days to provide the company a minimum margin of intervention of 48 hours. Matsytool will take care of contesting the damage to the courier and guarantee to the customer the replacement of the damaged product, that is the sending of spare parts necessary to restore the damaged product, without any additional charge to the customer and within a reasonable time.
